Introducing Antoinette Emoe, our Head Art Technician here at Maurice Ward Art Handling since 2016. She is a highly experienced art handler and technician. Antoinette has been working behind the scenes in museums, galleries, biennials and with corporate and private clients for over 18 years. With Maurice Ward, she set up the Premium Install Team and oversees our growing team of 30 art technicians.

Antoinette has a Bachelor’s in Fine Art Painting from Dublin Institute of Technology (DIT). She began her art handling career in the RHA Gallery where she quickly moved from being part of the technical crew to acting as Head Technician. Her love of travelling led her to relocate to Melbourne, Australia where she worked and gained a valuable insight into the art scene there. She also acted as an Art Technician for the largest commercial gallery, the Anna Schwartz Gallery, and worked in one of the city’s most prominent public galleries, RMIT University. After returning to Dublin in 2008 she continued to gain experience in IMMA as a technician & art handler and subsequently progressed to Lead Technician on many of IMMA’s most prestigious exhibitions until 2016.

When Antoinette isn’t busy in the office, preparing a project or out on an installation job, she loves listening to music, going to art exhibitions and films, socialising and travelling to every corner of the world.
