Meet the Team – Viktor
28 May 2019
Today we introduce Viktor Juhász, a fine art shipping coordinator in our Budapest office. Viktor grew up in Vecsés, Hungary and relocated to Budapest for high school and university. In his final year of his BA in International Studies (2011) he began working for Maurice Ward and has been with us ever since.
Viktor enjoys all the challenges his job brings and particularly loves the aspect of working with people. He works hard to bring clients through every step of the process of sending artworks from A to B – packaging, crating, customs clearance and insurance. He goes the extra mile to manage some cases personally and is no stranger to jumping on the truck to help out when needed, travelling as far as Albania, Switzerland and the UK in some cases. While he mainly focuses on the Hungarian art sector he works with clients from the freight sector as well.
Viktor is also the quality manager for our Budapest office. Viktor is driven by the philosophy: ‘I never lose. I either win or learn’ by Nelson Mandela and will go to great lengths to solve issues and answer clients’ questions. The company is like a second family to him and every day is a new challenge and “that’s why it is not boring”.
When he isn’t in the office, Viktor loves many sports and visiting the gym as well as travel, eating out and good wine! He loves all the exhibitions and art fairs he goes to as part of his job and is also a car fanatic!
