It was fantastic to meet the teams from the 68 attending Art Transport Companies from across the globe at the annual ICEFAT Convention in Lisbon last weekend.

Each member specializes in handling and shipping works of art, artifacts and antiquities for museums, galleries and dealers, corporate and private collectors and the premier auction houses.

Maurice Ward Art Handling attended with our Director Mary McLoughlin, Teresa Brehony our Fine Art Operations Manager and Holly Dungan, Fine Art Shipping Coordinator. It was a wonderful opportunity to discuss and access ‘The Highest Standards in Art Shipping’, to look at our marketplace and how best to meet the demands of our clients.

The close working relationships among our members allows us to ship, install and handle exhibitions across the world with the professionalism expected by our museums, national institutions and clients. It is great to hang out with fellow professionals who have the same end game i.e. to work to the highest standards and embrace the latest methods and technology. Our clients need to know when they engage with ICEFAT members they are dealing with the most experienced and best companies in the world when it comes to the transport of fine art and exhibitions.
